PERSONAL INJURY

We understand that injured people require empathy. Stress in coping with your injury should not be increased while a just settlement of your claim is being obtained.

When you place the responsibility for obtaining a settlement in our hands, you can devote yourself to the process of recovery and not be bothered by needless worries about your claim.

We recognise that the impact of an injury can often extend beyond the injured person and can affect family members and partners.

Injuries requiring compensation range from the severe such as quadriplegia and brain damage to the relatively minor.

Compensation may involve millions of dollars or a relatively small amount.

All claims receive thorough, meticulous and personal attention. Injuries can occur anywhere.

Contact us if you or someone close to you has been injured:

  • In a Motor Vehicle Accident

  • In a Public Place

  • At Work

  • As a result of Medical or other Health Treatment

  • In Any Other Manner.

You may be assured of tough negotiations on your behalf that will result in the best possible settlement for you.

WORKPLACE RELATIONS

Contact us if in your workplace you believe you have been:

  • Treated unfairly

  • Bullied or discriminated against

  • Unfairly dismissed

  • Made redundant

On your behalf we will discretely but forcefully represent you.

GENERAL LEGAL MATTERS

We provide personalised and appropriate advice on all legal matters.

Our extensive referral network ensures that at all times you will

receive expert legal advice on all matters.

WILLS, ENDURING GUARDIANSHIP AND POWERS OF ATTORNEY

We provide expert advice on the most appropriate way to ensure your estate is distributed according to your wishes.

By making an up-to-date and valid will, you will minimise delays in settling your affairs and avoid unnecessary charges against your estate.

We will also advise you on the actions that you can take to ensure your wishes are met in the event of a serious or life threatening illness.

You may consider that it would be an onerous responsibility to put on your loved ones to attempt to discern your wishes while they may be under great stress. We will prepare legal documents on your behalf that will relieve them of this stress.

Without making precautions, it may be left to an impersonal body to make decisions on your behalf – whether it is to do with your assets or even yourself if you become mentally incapacitated.

Through us you will find these precautions relatively simple and inexpensive to take. following your death.

PROBATE

Sometimes before the distribution of a deceased’s assets can take place, a Grant of Probate must be obtained.

The necessity for this can be for many reasons but a Grant of Probate is a determination that the will is valid and registered and that the executors have proper authority to administer the estate.

Probate is granted by the Probate Division of the Supreme Court of South Australia.

On your behalf we undertake all of the processes necessary to ensure a Grant of Probate is obtained expeditiously.

NEIGHBOURHOOD DISPUTES AND MEDIATIONS

In our fast moving and increasingly impersonal world, neighbourhood disputes and arguments are becoming more and more frequent.

We will contact the other party on your behalf and attempt to resolve issues without taking them to court.

We also arrange mediation between parties and attempt to avoid costly litigation
